Project 01
The challenge was to design and build a simple landing page for a financial advisor to help attract investors and educate those looking for financial knowledge. The objective is to provide an online platform to advertise his business, advertise his service offering and reach new clientele. Ideally, he needs users to find out more about what she does, book a consultation or get in touch.
I interviewed the business owner about his business and his objectives on this landing page. Found out about his competitors, where his primary focus is and the service he wants most to be known for.
I then sketched up a rough structure, researched some other sites with a similar goal and checked if client was happy with the concept.
Solethu wanted something simple, his contact information to be available and to target the right individuals namely, older, near retirement people who wanted to invest in their future. Young families looking to also plan for their growing families and future assets, business owners who need to ensure their business survives in their absence as well as their families staying protected.

Client wants a simple website thats easy to manage. Will give her customers a place to view her products and service and reach out to her.
She didn’t want any forms but wants the page linked to her social media so that she can grow her audience on all platforms.
